Aurecon

Aurecon is providing project management and technical services for the Vinh Tan 2 coal-fired power plant. Located on the coast, 250 km northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the plant will have a capacity of 1,200 MW and is due to be commissioned in 2014.

This project is the second phase of the Vinh Tan Power Generation Complex, which will be completed over three phases and have a total capacity of 4,400 MW.

Aurecon’s role includes overall project management and a review of civil, mechanical, electrical and control/instrumentation design. Aurecon will also provide construction supervision through to final commissioning.
