In a market such as oil and gas which is characterised by increased security of supply, changing geographic supply and consumption patterns and a mature asset base, advisors with deep skill and experience are essential to ensure that clients receive market relevant solutions.
Aurecon is dedicated to the safety and integrity of our clients’ assets. We offer asset integrity services which include cathodic protection (CP) on pipelines, refineries and fuel storage tanks. With safety a primary concern, we align our safety management systems closely with that of our clients’ and include in our offering safety in design, hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, as well as risk assessment and risk control.
Aurecon works across three main areas of this submarket; fuel terminals, asset management and gas. We are experienced in upgrading, maintaining, relocating and demolishing fuel terminals and undertake fire safety studies and facility audits to protect both terminals and people.
Aurecon’s experienced resource base is well placed to meet the increasing demand for engineering of new storage facilities for petroleum products and the rationalisation of existing storage terminals. Both of these increasingly include facilities for ethanol and bio-fuels, placing unusual demands on distribution infrastructure and requiring specialised facilities. Aurecon’s oil and gas team includes process and chemical engineers who can assist with system and process design for the most advanced hydrocarbon plants.
In addition to our work in bulk liquid storage and handling, our projects have included natural gas networks, reticulation networks, pipelines, compressor stations and storage. We have also provided marine works, jetty mooring systems and wharf infrastructure.
We aim to provide cost effective, innovative solutions for the projects we undertake while at the same time minimising environmental impact.
