Aurecon

Aurecon has been actively involved in Tanzania since 1994, specifically in the fields of transport, water and wastewater, energy, and community development and infrastructure.

Regional projects encompass road sector studies, user charging and feasibility studies, road and bridge upgrading and rehabilitation schemes, small port development studies, water supply and sanitation schemes, diverse buildings such as abattoirs, schools and hospitals, urban structure plans, power transmission/distribution schemes, the management of utilities and technical assistance support to government departments and utilities.

Specific projects in which Aurecon has been involved include technical assistance to the Road Fund, several road feasibility studies for TANROADS, the upgrading of Singida Katesh Road, the East African Community (EAC) transport strategy and regional road sector development programme, the upgrading of Tuduma-Laela Road as well as the upgrading of Laela-Sumbawanga Road, Oryx Oil and Gas East Africa appointments, and an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for Mizingani Seafront Improvement.
