Teddy Daka

Teddy is the founder and Executive Chairman of Tedaka Investments Pty Ltd, an investment company with interests in various industries including broadcasting, defense, electronics, engineering, information technology, management consulting, telecommunications, optics and rail. He holds a Business Management degree from De Montfort University (United Kingdom) and has also completed executive programmes at several institutions, including the University of Cape Town (South Africa), Michigan State University (USA), and University of Pennsylvania (USA).

Teddy has served on numerous boards, with current directorships including South Africa Airways Pty Ltd, South African Airways Technical Pty Ltd, Ansys Ltd, ADC-Krone Telecommunications Africa Pty Ltd and Verify Solutions Pty Ltd, amongst others. In addition, Teddy has served as ministerial advisor and often advises government departments and the private sector companies in South Africa on strategy, Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE), and supply chain management. Teddy’s vast experience in both the political and economic domains ensures Aurecon maintains its commitment to being a Black Empowered company.
